Q&A (frequently asked questions)
Do I need to be a pro model to qualify for a photoshoot?
No. Amateur models, every day women, men, children, professional models etc. are very useful as you can see in my portfolio. For new model without any references or experience, usually I do one test photoshoot for free (because the training process takes time). Model receives DVD with edited pictures.
Do I have to sign anything?
A model release is required and must be signed prior to the shoot. A model release is a document which enables Andrey Popov to sell the photos under a royalty free license.
Where will my photos be used?
Photos will be available for licensing to commercial clients through Stock agencies. These images may be used in brochures, advertisements, posters, on a billboard, in videos, or on a web site.
Here is an important extract from one of the agencies:
“ ….Files must not be used in a way that places any person in the photo or the author in a bad light or depicts them in a way that they may find offensive (pornography, violence…). Files must not be used to support political parties or religious organizations … “

What if I don’t want to sign the model release?
If you do not wish to sign the model release but still would like to do a photoshoot you can book one in my studio or on location (please look into Pricing Section).
What sort of photos will be taken during the photoshoot?
Generally I shoot business, lifestyle, sport, beauty, fashion. You will receive detailed shot list a few days before the shoot.
